3 years ago, I determined to learn the online business for a multi-stream of passive income, browsing through the local bookstore for a start.
Peng Joon’s book title attracted my attention.
BUILD A MONEY MAKING MACHINE – make money online, escape the 9-5 and be financially free.
The nightmare emerging into my life, US$1 250.00 and the up sell of US$2 500.00 thus flew into his pocket but so far earning zero income if anyone would follow his method.
During his seminar training in the Double Tree Hilton hotel in Kuala Lumpur, the audience packed the hall, a full house. The three days seminar emphasized on how he was in debt after finishing his UK study. Getting annoying wasted 30 minutes on a sobbing story, as no one interested. Subsequently, blowing the trumpet of making multi-dollar income in a year through his 600 websites. Asking his coach revealing his money-making the website, a negative reply. Isn’t it fishy?
Most of the time he motivated us energized the audience. End of the 3rd day, another up sell, using the psychology of people greediness to the fullest to explore blood earn money.
A bargain deal?
“If you guy makes US$87 500.00 a year, then I charged US$8 750.00 as my tuition fee, any question” He continued,
“After discounting, the 2 years coaching is US$3 750.00 with 5 days Bali retreat holiday, excluding flight and accommodation, limited 20 potential students” A hard core selling tactic with a sugar coating package inducing compulsive spending.
Making a beeline signed up the up-sell nevertheless, I was no exception paying US$2 500.00 for the 2 years training minus the Bali trip.
PROS#
1.) Learning with a big crowd, a fun way
2.) Making money online is not a quick rich scheme.
3.) Constantly we need to upgrade ourselves by continue learning from various mentors.
CONS#
1.) The price is too steep. Are you paying for the place venue-Double Tree Hilton?
2.) No live support when you have difficulties figuring out yourself and long waiting reply from the assigned individual coach.
3.) Lack of community support, another negligence issue.
4.) The No trial for this program.
5.) An outdated program, can it apply in ever rapidly changes in the internet industry? Working extraordinarily fine in the past for someone, but not with the current situation.
6.) Information missing regards to internet marketing strategy.
7.) Another up-sell during the event and this is a NO.
The Final VERDICT: Genuine program, over priced and outdated program, there is still another expensive up-sell.
REVIEW ON WEALTHY AFFILIATE
Introducing Wealthy Affiliate program to me on Nov 15, 2014, by my course, failing to notice it as I was suffering from the shiny object syndrome. Not until 27th July 2016, becoming a premium member, I regretted not learning this program seriously much earlier stage. But, nevertheless, it is better to start late than never started it.
Pros#
1.) Wealthy Affiliate offering a clear, step-by-step from the beginning by setting a website up, generating traffic, master your social engagement, making money, absence less likely to overwhelmed and give up. A successful in affiliate/internet marketing enhanced gradually with this systemic organized training. Taking action here, getting started at Wealthy Affiliate (no payment information required) and work through level one of their Online Entrepreneur Certification.
2.) At Wealthy Affiliate, the ability to wider knowledge on internet or affiliate marketing on every topic and sub-topic. Finding the answer to your question in their library of training, videos, and tutorials.
3) Wealthy Affiliate – a lively community that you can interact with, seek support, and learn from, that I encountered before. An absence of isolation as you can mingle with thousands of members sharing the similar knowledge. Stranded with doubts and questions in your study, needless to say, there is always a lending hand reach out to you.
Cons #
1.) Easily warming in the Wealthy affiliate member’s area if you are familiar with technologies. Don’t worry if you’re not savvy with technology, familiar with a week or two practices. Further down the road, you will become a professional access everything easily.
2.) The abundance of updated information to cover and learn for the beginner. A toddler learns to crawl, walk unsteadily, ultimately on, run. Remember Rome was not built-in a day, as you learn, start building your website. Don’t try to finish every lesson and THEN start working.
Verdict: Do I Recommend Wealthy Affiliate?
- Absolutely – A great product recommendation to anyone to nurture the online business and escape the 9 to 5 jobs.
- There is no bunch of crummy up-sells, not a scam, bogus outdated training. The co-founders of Wealthy Affiliate, Kyle, and Carson, their priority is to help their members to earn as much money as possible, which is hardly seen in this industry.
- Skeptical about it, then I suggest signing up for a free account and try it for a few days. If it is your cup of tea, then, upgrade gaining access to all the training materials.
- Before you start reading, briefly saying this, this is not a sales pitch. In your internet business strategy you may:
- Never go to premium and that’s fine.
- Want to try starter first and then maybe go to premium.
- Subsequently, affordable upgrade to premium later date.
